College can be an eye-opening experience in many ways. For some students, this might mean discovering they are very interested in a field they had not fully explored before, and realizing that the major they really want to pursue is in a different college. Or they might find that the philosophy and identity of another college is a better fit for them than the college in which they are currently enrolled. Students who find themselves in these situations can apply for internal transfer. The Office of Internal Transfer and Concurrent Degrees advises students and facilitates their application process.
NOTE: you can apply to only ONE target college/major in each application period. This includes CALS students who are applying to AEM: current CALS students cannot apply to AEM and another college or school at Cornell in the same semester.
